Mitch Kapor and Philippe Bossut from Linden Lab (second life ) experimenting with a prototypical interface that demonstrates the possibilities for operating Second Life “hands free” without a mouse or keyboard. It can interact with its virtual world using a Webcam 3DVsystems as comfortable as using a webcam. There is the possibilities to track user’s body gestures and navigate and edit them within the environment. The prototype initiative are still very experimental however it could be interesting to interact and appeal the virtual world with online expression standing 5 feet from the keyboard.
