Hiring The Boss

This is very hard to find such senior talent for the ultimate leadership position those having relevant experience in particular industries and who can lead the organization to success and appropriately meet projected goals, manoeuvre internal success, inherently people driven, & meet all other requirements just-in-time is not an easy task.
Hiring a CEO is like buying a property or making a big deal, every small aspect needs to be carefully examined. Such function requires intensive study of contract and agreements and to make sure how to utilize such talent in a hundred percent result.
No doubt Compensation has been high in CEO positions, since organizations value people who have proved their talent in previous organisation, probably the lack of such people in industries justifies their high compensation packages.

Setting targets & strategies over plans is not just enough as their role, they should be extremely people driven. CEO’S are required to meet organizational objectives and must motivate, influence, inspire, manage conflict, and should posses the top man management skills with an ability to carry teams & people.

Also he should posses the leadership with a collection of personal behaviors, empathy and social skills, political and people skills and judgment and an ability to lead and develop talent. Always try to find a leader better than you.
